* Flash Flood Warning for... Dallas County in north central Texas...

* Until 430 AM CDT.

* At 119 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates and rain gauge reports indicate up to 3 inches of rain have fallen in the past 1 to 2 hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Dallas, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, Carrollton, Richardson, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Rowlett, Grapevine, Wylie, Coppell, Lancaster, Farmers Branch, Balch Springs, University Park, Sachse, Seagoville and Addison.
